I finally finished the card and date organizer that I started several weeks ago. This funny-looking photo I used as part of the front cover is a picture of me at two or three. My folks have dozens of pictures of me making this face. Who knows what I was thinking, but it is pretty funny.

Lee and I spent five hours at
Renninger's in Adamstown, Pa., on Sunday. Five hours was not enough time to visit all of the 375 booths inside of this giant flea market. We didn't even get to the new outdoor Pavilion where there can be as many as 300 vendors on any given Sunday.

We found lots of cool things and some great prices. I even found this wonderful crown pin for
Silver Bella!

And great news about Atticus. No hip replacement surgery for now! The surgeon said that Atticus and I would know when it was time. No surgery! No rehab! No sleeping on the sofa next to the dog for three months!
"They're trying to make me go to rehab, but I said, 'No, no, no. . . '"
I envy you that fab crown pin! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute puppies! My friend Michelle has a cat named Atticus

Both she and I will be at SB :)
Oh such a wonderful photo of you! What a cutie! So glad your puppy doesn't need surgery. Such sweet furry creatures. What would the world be without their unconditional love?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you had heard that song, "rehab". I understand it is some what of an anthem to those in recovery. Steve is wondering about his addition to your top attributes....
ReplyDeleteJust kiddin'
Are you actually looking for crown stuff?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I know the rehab song! It's one of those catchy little tunes that you can't get out of your head.
ReplyDeleteAs for crowns, well, it's in the back of my mind when I'm out and about. I wouldn't be surprised to see bellas wearing full-size crowns and tiaras in November!
Ha, I remember that look as clearly as if it was yesterday, but it was 1960. Your Dad would look at the ceiling, causing you to look up too. Then he tickled your neck. You fell for it over and over. Then you got smart and would try to look up without bending your head back. This was the result.
ReplyDeleteGood news about Atticus.
Amy Winehouse is great. Going to be around for a long time.
love all your finds !! gorgeous crown pin too ! can't wait for the bella ball !

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear about Atticus. He is just a beautiful german shepherd. We love german shepherds in our family that I'm pretty sure it won't be long before a new one finds its way to our home.
ReplyDeleteLove the crowns!

Oh you found some DELISH bits at that market! I TOTALLY need to keep my eyeballs peeled for crowns...I'm going to SB too! My sweet friend, Lilli, already mentioned that! :-) She also mentioned that I have a cat named Atticus and that was what prompted me to want to leave a comment here! Atticus is the SWEETEST cat. My daughter actually named him. One of her favorite books is To Kill a Mockingbird. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery good news about your Atticus, btw.
Cheers!
