I am fascinated by the images I am able to capture with my new macro lens. Probably because my eyes aren't what they once were, and I just don't see things this well without reading glasses, and even then . . . So, if you are like me, you may enjoy a closer look at things blooming in the garden. He's probably looking for this.
Fantastic macros! I love the one of the wasp. Oh and Atticus' eye. Also the ones of the columbine. The rose bud is awesome too.....Shoot!! I love em all.
wow o wow! love your macros! my eyes are not what they were either, and I remember my grandmother telling me that when we grow old, we don't see things up close because when we age we see what is really important ... the things in the future, in the distance, and we realize that the details just don't really matter... but your photos show that there is such beauty in the detail... gorgeous
Just fabulous Leslie, you have so much more blooming than we do. The hornet and the nest are terrific. And of course Atticus's eye....And a lovely bladder campion.
ok that's it. you have thrown down the gauntlet!!! HA! Brent bought me a macro one Christmas and I just didn't get the hang of it... silly me. All I needed to do was wait for you to get yours and I would be golden!!

The pic of Atticus' eye blew me away! The reflection is perfect! Think I will have to investigate a macro lens. These are wonderful photos! Thanks for sharing!
