I made a white box today so that I could photograph a project that I won't be able to share with you for a while.
Weekend flea-market find
But the white box is like a puppy I can't put down! I'm looking around the house for things that it can chew on.

I am so excited with the possibilities.

I guess this would be more impressive if my blog had a white background!
Where will your photography go next Leslie? You continue to grow right before our eyes!
ReplyDeleteI have the exact same napkin ring in your first photo... isn't it the sweetest? I found mine in Danville after leaving our Montana expedition.
oh wait... yours isn't a napkin ring at all! But they are the same in very other way.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I want to see the white box set up. How big is it? I made a very temporary white box this weekend. And I have all kinds of questions. Its a process to get a good set up so one can take all these images!
ReplyDeleteHi Leslie. My white box is a basically two foot by two foot cardboard box that I made using this tutorial. I was fortunate to have a double thickness box in my basement, so I expect this set up will last for a long time.
ReplyDeleteIf you have any questions, please send me an e-mail.

Nicely done! I like it. You are, indeed, an artist, aren't you? lol
ReplyDeleteThat's very cool!
ReplyDeleteI'll check it out. Thanks Leslie!
ReplyDeleteLove the pieces from your collections that you did photograph. I saw a portable one somewhere recently, maybe in CPS Studios that you could get, it was pretty cool. Of course it helps that you are such a good photographer anyway. xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteGreat photos...I love the Akira doll.
ReplyDeleteNow I am going to check out the tutorial.
See you soon :) :)
Oh... your white box effect is amazing, and especially with a black background!!! roxanne
ReplyDeleteWell, I must say, that's quite a well-behaved puppy. I wonder what's been so important that I haven't had time to meet it !
