Happy Birthday Sophie! Your son has started a great tradition. It would be nice someday for Sophie to wear then all together on a bracelet or necklace. I bet her Memaw can figure out something more spectacular than that.
Sophie will remember her dad always as a King for doing this and I'm tucking his idea in my cap , for other men could gain from his beautiful idea!
Think of the ring charm bracelet she could make when she's 5 ! Or, when she's nine, she'll have to start wearing them on her thumbs! Or, she could start getting toe rings when she's 11!
(see, you can't start me on a good idea, or i just drive it into the ground.)
What a beautiful tradition Sophie's daddy has begun. And the photograph is sweet and moving. Congratulations on another upcoming class and have a wonderful day. roxanne
OH! I got a wee lump in my throat reading this. There is something about those chubby little hands and daddy's first ring that is so moving. What a special thing to do, a ring a year, that girl is going to have a whole ton of rings when she grows up! <3
exquisite!
