Thankful for . . .

"Where stone, that mystic symbol of permanence, nobility, and enduring strength, has been transformed by nature's sculptors into a grand display of three-dimensional artistry in rock unmatched for variety anywhere else." ~Ward Roylance
I've been to the most beautiful place.
With the most amazing light and color.
Zion National Park.
And making art around the table with friends. (Michael deMeng had a book like this when I took his workshop a few weeks ago.)
Yes, I'm thankful.

  5. Leslie, there are a few singular moments in my life when I took a mental snapshot that never fails to make my heart skip a beat. One is looking out at half-dome, and another is entering Zion National Park. That is one of the most amazing places I've ever been.
Thanks for these awesome images. Happy Thanksgiving to you!

  8. Leslie:

When I saw photo #3 I was already guessing it was Zion. It's been nearly 5 years since we were there, and it was also in November. After Zion we headed to Bryce Canyon and had to drive through two snowstorms. Thanks for the memories
