Color, rust and Bugs

They say that April showers bring May flowers . . .
I'm sure that's true . . .
And May showers . . .
Mean less watering and great photos.
All of this rain also helps to grow something else . . .
A rust garden -- inspired by my friend eb.
I'm a total novice about growing rust . . .
But, I'm working on it, and these pages will soon be bound into a journal, which I'll share before long.
On a sad note: Today, my son had to put down his long-time companion, Bugsie. Bugs was everybody's friend, but especially devoted to Jordan. He will leave a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

  4. So sorry to her about your loss:( Was Bugsie a German Shepherd? He looks a lot like Lync as a puppy.

  5. I'm sorry to hear about Bugsie. Sounds like he was a well-loved pup. Pets like him always stay in our memories, don't they?

Your photos of the flowers are gorgeous. All this rain we've been getting in our part of the world has made for a lush spring, hasn't it? I'm looking forward to seeing your rust pages. Eb created some amazing pieces out of rusty bits and from your sneak peeks in this post, you have, too. I like the watercolour look of the bleeding rust and I'm impressed that you can get such crisp lines on the paper. Yep, can't see what you create with these pages.

Have a terrific holiday weekend, Leslie!
